Ecolab, a global sustainability leader, partners with Ford Pro™ to electrify its sales and service fleet, aiming for complete North American fleet electrification by 2030. Starting in California, over 1,000 Ford F-150® Lightning® Pro trucks and Mustang® Mach-E® SUVs will be deployed, creating a large all-electric fleet. Utilizing Ford Pro’s charging and telematics software, Ecolab seeks to optimize vehicle performance and productivity. This transition aligns with Ecolab’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions globally by 2050, strengthening their long-standing commitment to sustainability and positive impact.

A Historic and Sustainable Collaboration
Since 1925, Ford and Ecolab have collaborated, focusing on water reduction and reuse in Ford plants. Ecolab currently operates over 10,000 light-duty vehicles in its North American fleet, with 95% being Ford vehicles. Over the past decade, Ecolab has procured over 31,000 Ford vehicles.

Ford and Ecolab have worked together for nearly a century, most recently to help conserve water and energy while improving business performance. This next phase of our relationship will help us move quickly and at scale with the goal of improving profits through renewable energy and EV solutions for the betterment of our employees, business and the environment.
Both Ford and Ecolab prioritize sustainability, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050. Ford, with Ecolab’s assistance, has reduced water usage, preserving local freshwater sources. Since 2000, Ford has saved over 186 billion gallons of water, striving to use only fresh water for human consumption.
